Howard has made the most of his glorious “retirement” by establishing himself as a model and commercial actor, following his forty-five year career as a clinical social worker with a private psychotherapy practice in Boulder, Colorado. With a heightened passion for social awareness and advocacy, Howard took the age-old advice to push outside of his comfort zone in order to consciously evolve in the direction he has laid out and is now at the best place in his life!

Howard places a high value on both his personal and professional goals as well as his local community. As he continues to move further into the modeling and acting world, he intends to continue advocating for the rights, respect, and support for all oppressed factions; women, the elderly, the LGBTQ community, the physically and mentally challenged communities, and all other groups who have experienced discrimination and bias.

Howard is one of a very few Colorado residents whose families on both sides have been here for eight generations. Raised in Durango, he went on to receive his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, and his MSW and PhD from Smith College in Northampton, MA. He raised both of his children in Boulder, where Howard has been based for the past forty years. In his leisure time, Howard loves experiencing nature, going to the gym, gardening, and hanging out with his shih tzu and best friend, Oso.
